The Overseas Labour Center under the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs has announced recruitment of labourers to work in the Republic of Korea under the Employment Permit System (EPS) program in the shipbuilding industry in 2023. It is expected that the number of qualified people is more than 1,100.

(LĐXH)- Over 72,000 Vietnamese workers were sent abroad during the first six months of the year, meeting nearly 66% of the target, the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs has reported.

(LĐXH)- On June 23, 2023, in Hanoi, Vietnam's Minister of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs Dao Ngoc Dung and Republic of Korea (RoK)’s Minister of Employment and Labour Lee Jung Sik signed and handed over a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on sending and receiving Vietnamese workers to work in Korea under the Employment Permit System for foreign workers of RoK (EPS Program).

The number of Vietnamese workers registered to work in the Republic of Korea (RoK) has reached more than 23,400, nearly double the agreed recruitment target between Vietnam and the RoK, the Centre for Overseas Labour under the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs announced.

(LDXH) Related to Korean language exam in EPS program, after working with the Department of Employment and Social Affairs of Korea, the Department of Labours-Invalids and Social Affairs (MOLISA) has issued Official Letter No. 2843 / LDTBXH QLLDNN to People's Committees of provinces and cities to announce a temporary suspension of labour recruited to work in Korea under the EPS program in 2016 with 44 districts and towns.
