Promoting Vietnam-Korea cooperation on social security
(LĐXH)- Over the past 30 years, the Vietnam-Korea cooperation relationship has made strong progress in all sectors. Thereby bringing mutual benefits, understanding and deep trust for both sides. Currently, the two countries maintain a good "Comprehensive Strategic Partnership" relationship.

This is the first bilateral agreement on government-level social insurance that Vietnam has signed with a partner country.
This is also an important foundation for Vietnam to continue negotiating and signing bilateral agreements on social insurance with other countries.
Following the Government's direction on consolidating and developing the "Comprehensive Strategic Partnership" relationship between Vietnam and Korea in all fields, over the years, Vietnam Social Security has always strengthened deeper and deeper cooperation with Korean partners in social security.
The bilateral agreement on social insurance between Vietnam and Korea signed in 2021 has two main purposes.
The first is to avoid paying social insurance twice.
Secondly, the time of social insurance payment will be mutually recognized by both parties./.
