Nearly 2,500 Vietnamese workers went to work abroad under contracts in the first quarter
(LĐXH)- The Department of Overseas Labour (under Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs) said that in the first three months of this year, the total number of Vietnamese workers going to work abroad was 2,455, inluding nearly 410 female workers.

This is a low rate, equivalent to 2.72% of the plan of 2022 and this figure is only 8.31% compared to the same period last year, when the number of Vietnamese workers going to work abroad in the first quarter of 2021 was more than 29.5 thousand people.
Markets receiving Vietnamese workers include Japan: 612; Taiwan (China): 439; Korea: 336; Singapore: 331; China: 1,245…
Some key markets have reopened to receive Vietnamese workers since March.
In 2022, Vietnam sets a target of sending 90,000 workers to work abroad under contracts.
However, the issue of sending workers to work abroad continues to face many challenges due to the complicated developments of the COVID-19 pandemic in some countries and territories./.
